FINAL RESULTS
(SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Sept. 15)—The McKendree University women's cross country team raced to a seventh-place finish Saturday morning at the Richard Clark Invitational, which was hosted by Missouri State University.
Six of the 10 teams in the field were NCAA Division II institutions. McKendree finished fourth of those six institution on the day. Wichita State University was the overall winner, followed by the University of Central Missouri and host Missouri State University.
Individually, junior
Hannah Inyart (Belleville, IL/Belleville East) had the highest finish for a McKendree runner in the event. Inyart was 34
th overall as she covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 20:09. Junior
Lauren Ewart (Troy, IL/Triad) was 42
nd in 20:43, while junior
Megan Doty (Collinsville, IL/Triad) also earned a top-50 finish by taking 47
th overall in a time of 20:49.
McKendree will return to action Sept. 29 at the Greater Louisville Classic in Kentucky.
