(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 14)- McKendree University men's tennis coach
Adam Reeb has announced the signing of Joseph Jones to his 2015-16 recruiting class.
"We're very excited to welcome Joseph into our program," said Reeb. "He is a person who I've known for a long time and it's very rewarding to have seen him when he first started playing to now seeing the player he has developed into and getting the opportunity to continue his development here at McKendree. Joseph plays a powerful all-court game, and he comes from Coach Dan Skaer's Belleville East program, so we know he is a tough competitor who plays hard every time he steps on the court."
The McKendree men's tennis team is currently ranked No. 50 in NCAA Division II and No. 6 in the Midwest Region in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. The Bearcats wrapped up their fall schedule in October, and will enter the spring with an overall mark of 5-1. McKendree will return to the courts on Feb. 20, when they travel to Carbondale, Ill., to face Southern Illinois University-Carbondale at 12 p.m.
