Basketball, Baseball, Golf
A three-year star as a Bearcat, Bill earned varsity letters in basketball, baseball and golf and was a four-year starter in each. H was a Prairie College Conference All-Conference basketball selection each of his four years. His .341 batting average led the team his senior season. After graduating in 1961, Bill taught school and coached basketball and baseball in central Illinois. His teams won more than 10 tournaments, eight regional titles, two sectional titles and one super-sectional title. He was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2003.
