IRVINE, Calif. – The WWPA has named several McKendree University men's water polo players to their end of season All-Conference teams. All selections are first time in school history as this is the inaugural season playing in the WWPA.
Senior Breno Tebet was selected to the second team All-Conference. Tebet led the Bearcats in scoring and assists this season with 56 and 23 respectively. He was seventh across the whole WWPA in scoring and also tallied 23 steals.
Freshman Yannick Robertson registered 35 points and 12 assists en route to a selection to the second team all-conference as well as the All-Conference freshman team. Roberston led the Bearcats in steals with 25.
Senior Adam Serrano was named to the All-Conference defensive team. Serrano scored 19 goals and six assists to go along with 10 steals on the season.
The Bearcats begin the postseason this weekend at home where they will play Fresno Pacific at 9 A.M. in the opening round of the WWPA Championships.
