Sean Rakers has been named as the Mama Gusto's Male Athlete of the Week for the period covering Nov. 29-Dec. 5. Rakers (New Baden, Ill./Wesclin) helped lead the Bearcat men's basketball team to a pair of wins in last weekend's McKendree Classic. He averaged 13 points and 10.7 rebounds in three games last week, including wins of 81-66 over East-West University and 64-62 over Harris-Stowe State University in the Classic. Rakers shot 59.3 percent from the field and added four blocked shots on the week. Rakers was named as the MVP of the McKendree Classic.
