The McKendree Wrestling Center was opened in the spring of 2014 as the dedicated practice facility for the McKendree men's and women's wrestling teams. The 7,500-square foot building includes two full-size mats along with locker rooms for both teams as well as a bleacher area and office space. The facility also contains an overhead projector that can be used by both programs for film breakdown. The facility is also adjacent to the McKendree Sports Performance Center.
While the McKendree wrestling teams will still utilize the Harry M. Statham Sports Center for their home matches, the addition of the dedicated wrestling training facility will aid in the Bearcats' preparation for dual matches and tournament competition.
