ADA Accommodations
Parking - Disabled parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in all Bearcat athletic venues. Patrons must have a valid state-issued disabled person parking placard. The person possessing the placard must be in the vehicle to parking a space reserved for disabled patrons. Please have a driver's license or registration available for verification by a parking guard. Drop-off and puck-up zones for disabled patrons not utilizing the disabled parking space is available.

Restrooms - disabled accessible stalls are available in all restrooms.

Seating - patrons must have a reserved ticket designated for disabled seating areas. For disabled seating tickets, contact McKendree University Athletics Ticket Office at 618-537-6873. There are no patron elevators accessible to fans at Bearcat venues. However, all seating is accessible via wheelchair ramps.

Alcoholic Beverage Policy No alcohol (including non-alcoholic beer and wine) or illegal drugs may be brought into or consumed at any McKendree University athletic event.

Animals Certified service animals in training for guest with disabilities are welcome at all McKendree University athletic events. All other animals are not allowed in any Bearcat athletic venues unless specified by management.

Anthem Singing If you are interested in performing the National Anthem at a McKendree University athletics home event, please submit a tape or CD that is a maximum of 90 seconds in length to:

Bogey the Bearcat mascot, McKendree University Cheerleaders and Dancers make several appearances in the community every year. Visits from Bogey or cheerleaders during a game (to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, marriage proposals, etc.) can be arranged for a fee. Send your request four weeks prior to your event date to the address below. ATMs There are no ATM's located in the Melvin Price Convention Center, Leemon Stadium, Hypes Field and Bearcat Field. The McKendree Metro Rec Plex does not have access to an ATM. The new McKendree Wrestling Center does not have access to an ATM.

Autographs Bearcat student-athletes make several appearances throughout the year at various locations, primarily at community events. Fans seeking autographs can sign up for the official e-newsletter of Bearcat Athletics at www.mckbearcats.com or visit McKendree University athletes at an upcoming event. There will also be post-game opportunities for fans to get autographs.

Automobile Assistance The McKendree University Public Safety provides security at Bearcat athletic events. If you require assistant for your automobile, contact an on-duty officer or call the Office of Public Safety at 618-537-6911.

Baby Changing Stations Baby changing stations are available in all public restrooms at all Bearcat athletic venues.

Bag Searches Only small personal bags (purses, baby or diaper bags, etc.) will be permitted inside Bearcat athletic venues and are subject to search at all entrances. Please leave all unnecessary items in your vehicle or at home. Prohibited items must be returned to your vehicle or discarded (see "Prohibited Items" section below). Staff members may not store or hold items for you until postgame. Patrons who refuse to allow visual inspections for contents of bags or purses will be denied entry into the venue.

Banners/ Signs Banners and signs are allowed at all athletic events. However, they must be constructed from flame-retardant material and may not be displayed during play due to sight restrictions (if at a sporting event). Banners or signs may not be placed on the surface, be commercial in nature, obscene, or cause any disturbance to other fans. Poles to display banners or flags are prohibited. Banners and signs may not exceed three feet in height, obstruct the view of other guests or venue advertising signage, or be temporarily or permanently affixed to the building structure. McKendree University athletics reserves the right to remove any banners or signs that may be considered controversial or offensive, without exemption.

Bearcat Sports Camp If your child is 8 years old or older and is interested in attending the Bearcat sports camp, you can contact the office of the sports team(s) hosting the camp, or Connie Henss-Nunn, Administrative Assistant at 618-537-6513. Binoculars Binoculars and their case are permitted in the stadium and subject to inspection at all entrances.

Birthdays McKendree University does not display birthday or special event messages on scoreboards or read personal messages via the public address announcer.

Broadcasts McKendree University offers live video broadcasts for the following home athletic events: football, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's hockey, men's and women's wrestling, men's and women's water polo, men's and women's swimming and diving, baseball, softball and women's lacrosse. These broadcasts are produced through the Bearcat Sports Network and are available as part of the GLVC Sports Network at http://www.glvcsn.com/mckendree. 

Broken Seats If your seat is broken at any time please let a McKendree University facilities or game management representative know at the event, or during our office house at 618-537-6597.

Buses Charter buses are permitted on campus on football game days for drop off purposes. After dropping off, buses will be directed to park in open space parking lots (see "Parking" section below).

Cameras/ Video Recording Policy No professional camera equipment may be used at any McKendree University athletic event. This includes any type of "detachable" lens or flashes. Cameras are discouraged, but are permitted as long as they meet the previously mentioned criteria. Video equipment may not be brought in unless you are taping a friend or family member who is participating in a half-time performance, a promotion or some other special circumstance during the event. Anyone caught videotaping or taking professional photographs of a Bearcat athletic event will have their film confiscated by an usher. McKendree University Athletics is not liable for any damages occurring to cameras brought into the building.

Championship Trophies McKendree University athletic trophies -- including national, conference and academic trophies -- are displayed in the lobby of the Melvin Price Convention Center.

Children Entry Policy Children 5 years old and older are required to have a ticket in order to gain entry to a McKendree University sporting event.

Climate Control McKendree University indoor venues maintain a constant temperature during all events. For concerns with climate control, please consult a facilities manager or game management representative.

Code of Conduct The Great Lakes Valley Conference and McKendree University Athletics require good sporting conduct from student-athletes, coaches and spectators. Your cooperation in supporting the game participation and officials in a positive manner is expected. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed at officials, game participants and other spectators will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the venue. Community Service McKendree University Department of Athletics is committed to be a good neighbor and corporate citizen. Coolers Coolers are not permitted in McKendree University athletic venues.

Concessions McKendree University athletic concessions are operated by McKendree organizations. You will find a variety of permanent concession stands at Leemon Field, the Melvin Price Convention Center, Bearcat Field and Hypes Field.

Contests and Promotions McKendree University hosts several contests and promotions throughout the year to add entertainment and value to Bearcat athletic events. For a list of all contests, promotions and entry policies visit www.mckbearcats.com.

Credit Cards All major credit cards are accepted on advanced ticket sales only. Camp/Clinic online registration, concession stands, and merchandise and ticket purchases at all other venues are cash only (see "ATM" section above).

Doors Open Doors open 90 minutes prior to the start time of a McKendree University athletics event for the general public. For Bearcat Club members with premium benefits, hospitality doors open two hours prior to game start.

Elevators There are no elevators for the general public located at Bearcat athletic venues. All Bearcat athletic venues are wheelchair accessible.

Emergency Inside Stadium/Venue For any emergency while inside McKendree athletic venues, including medical emergencies, individuals should notify the nearest usher, game management representative or public safety officer.

Emergency Evacuation In the event of an emergency, athletic facility staff will utilize the public address system to inform patrons of the situation and any instructions as applicable. All exits and emergency exits are posted with appropriate signage.

Emergency Phone Calls Any emergency calls should be directed to 911.

Field Access Only authorized persons with proper credentials are allowed on the field at McKendree University athletics events. Fans entering the field area without proper credentials are subject to eviction and arrest. Credentials for field access are not available for purchase. 

First Aid/EMS Emergency officials are present at all athletic events. In case where an individual needs assistance, direct all needs to the closest facility staff or game management representative. Doing this will ensure your needs are met as quickly as possible.

Food/Beverage Food or beverage of any kind (alcoholic included) are not allowed to be brought into any Bearcat Athletics facility. Concession stands are located throughout all Bearcat Athletics facilities and sell various types of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages (see "Alcoholic Beverage Policy" and "Prohibited Items" sections).

Game Dates and Times Game dates and times are subject to change. In the event a game date or time change should occur, the information will be immediately posted on www.mckbearcats.com and will be communicated through the local media as well as on all McKendree Athletics social media platforms.

Game Programs Game programs are available during McKendree University home athletic events throughout the venue from individuals and at the fan relations booth, located on the main concourse.

Group Events/Sale Whether you are organizing a company outing, a fundraising opportunity, a night out for youth organizations or just getting together with a group of friends with 20 or more people to a Bearcat athletic event, you are eligible for a group discount. Contact our group sales department for more information at 618-537-6597.

Guest Conduct McKendree University Athletics intend to provide all guests with a safe, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. Consequently, the facility management does not intend to allow a pleasant experience to be disrupted or ruined by unruly guests. To enforce these policies, Bearcat facility event security is located throughout the arena. Guests who are not here to enjoy the event or cannot comply with these rules will not be welcome at any of the Bearcat Athletic facilities (see Code of Conduct" section). Therefore, we have established the following rules for expected guest conduct:

  • Guests wearing obscene or indecent clothing are not allowed at Bearcat facilities.
  • Guests using foul or abusive language or gestures will be ejected from Bearcat facilities.
  • Guests appearing intoxicated will be denied entry or ejected from Bearcat facilities.
  • Guests interfering with the progress of the event or attempting to enter or throw items onto the event surface will be ejected from the Bearcat facilities and possibly arrested.

Harry M. Statham Sports Center Home court for all McKendree University home men's and women's basketball games, men's and women's volleyball games, as well as men's and women's wrestling matches/ tournaments. Located inside the Melvin Price Convocation Center.

High School Coach Entrance All high school coaches must contact the McKendree University Ticket Office at 618-537-6873 for a ticket. No one will be allowed into the stadium without a ticket. Will Call for high school coaches' tickets is located on the west side of Leemon Field or directly inside the lobby of the Melvin Price Convocation Center

Leemon Field Home field for all McKendree University football, men's and women's soccer, women's lacrosse games, as well as men's and women's track and field home meets.

Lost and Found If you have lost an item during the event, please contact the nearest Bearcat staff member for assistance. You may also turn in any found items to a Public Safety Officer. Items turned in will be held for 30 days. On non-event days, please call the University Public Safety Department at 618-537-6911 and have a detailed description of your misplaced item with the time, date and location of where you think the item was lost. If you get a voicemail, please leave your name and phone number, and we will call you back within two business days.

Lost Parent/ Found Child Children should be told to contact the nearest police officer or Bearcat facility staff or game management representative should they become lost. Lost children will be taken to the McKendree University Athletics Office. Parents looking for a lost child should proceed to the Athletics Office. To avoid this problem, may we suggest that you place your child's event ticket in one of their pockets upon entering the venue.

McKendree Metro Rec Plex Located in the city of O'Fallon, the facility is home to all the McKendree University men's and women's hockey games, men's and women's swimming & diving meets and men's and women's water polo matches. For more information about the venue, click here.

Media All media inquiries for all home athletic events should be directed to Max Bennett at 618-537-6879.

Melvin Price Convocation Center Is the location of the box office for tickets to McKendree University events and the Harry M. Statham Sports Center. It is also the location for the offices of the coaching staff for baseball, basketball (M&W), bowling (M&W), women's lacrosse, soccer (M&W), softball, tennis (M&W), and volleyball (M&W).

Merchandise Event and athletic sport merchandise can be purchased online at our team online store at www.shopmckendree.com. On non-event days, merchandise can be purchased at the University Bookstore located at The Lair or online here (see "Credit Card" section above).

Noisemakers In accordance with the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the NCAA, McKendree asks fans to adhere to the following policies:

1. Megaphones can only be used by cheerleaders and then only to cheer. They are not to be beaten against another object to distract the players.

2. Artificial noise makers, air horns and electronic amplifiers are not permitted and shall be removed upon discovery.

R
Radios Hand-held and pocket-sized portable radios are allowed at Bearcat athletic venues. Please be considerate of other patrons and use an earpiece or headphones to listen to your radio.

Re-entry Policy Patrons may re-enter any Bearcat athletic venue with a valid ticket stub or University ID.

Resale of Tickets The resale of athletics tickets, for any amount of money, on McKendree University property, constitutes solicitation and is strictly prohibited unless permitted as defined by university policies. Subjects found soliciting on McKendree University property can receive a criminal trespass warning and will be required to leave University property immediately or be subject to arrest for criminal trespass.

Security/ Crowd Management:

  • Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or safety officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the venue or the teams may be ejected from the facility. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the stadium. An ejected patron will not be allowed to re-turn for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest.
  • You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into a Bearcat athletic venue. By tendering your ticket, and entering the stadium, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against McKendree University. If you elect to not consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the stadium.
  • To report an incident in your seating area, please notify the nearest usher, security guard or McKendree University police person near the entrance to your seat.

Smoking Smoking is not permitted inside Bearcat Athletics venues. Designated smoking areas are indicated outside of each facility.

Solicitation McKendree University does not permit unauthorized soliciting or collecting of contributions, vending, distribution of fliers, or other promotional/advertising materials on campus property.

Special Announcements Special announcements on the public address system and scoreboard are limited to medical and police emergencies. Bearcat athletic venues do not announce or display birthday, anniversary or other personal messages on the public address system or scoreboard (see "Birthdays" section).

Standing Room Only Every ticket has a seat assignment. There are no standing room only tickets available. Ushers are instructed to keep the aisles clear. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the aisles clear for other patrons.

Strollers Strollers are permitted in the McKendree athletic facilities.

St. Clair Bowling Located in the city of Fairview Heights, this location is the home for all McKendree University men's and women's bowling teams' matches and practices. For more information about the venue, click here.

St Clair Tennis Club Located in the city of O'Fallon, this club is the court for all McKendree University men's and women's tennis home matches. For more information about the venue, click here.

Tailgating Reserved parking spots for tailgating are available prior to game day for $10 for a single (1) spot, or $40 for a single (1) spot for the entire season. On game day, single (1) spots are available for $15.

Taxicabs No taxicabs are allowed on campus postgame as all traffic is outbound only.

Televisions Hand-held and mini TVs are allowed at Bearcat athletic venues. Please be considerate of other patrons and use an earpiece or headphones to listen to your TV.

Water Fountains Water fountains are located throughout Bearcat athletic venues. Outside food and drinks including water is not permitted at Bearcat athletic venues. Patrons needing water can visit a water fountain or may purchase water at one of the concessions stands.

Weapons No weapons of any kind are permitted in any Bearcat athletic venue. This policy includes weapons used by off-duty law enforcement officers. Firearms must be secured by the McKendree University Safety Department or within an individual's vehicle.

Will Call Will Call for all ticketed Bearcat athletic events will open 90 minutes before the game start time. Locations for Will Call are:

Lemmon Field - West Side main entrance.

Melvin Price Convocation Center - Main lobby.

Wheelchairs McKendree University Athletics does not provide wheelchairs for patron use. However, courtesy carts are located at all entrances to Bearcat Stadium for the convenience of fans needing additional assistance getting to their seat. Please locate the nearest Public Safety Officer for help.
