McKendree University Athletics

The McKendree University men's and women's bowling teams have called St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights, Ill., home for more than a decade. The Bearcats conduct their daily practice sessions at the 50-lane facility. St. Clair Bowl has recently upgraded its look to include McKendree branding both inside and outside the facility. 

In addition to its 50 lanes for bowling, St. Clair Bowl features The Bowlers' Shoppe, Striker's All-Day Cafe, a large video arcade, large rooms capable of hosting parties for all ages and sizes, as well as other amenities. In-game scoring can be kept automatically and displayed on video boards above each lanes. Recent technology installed at the lanes has enabled Bearcat bowlers to record their practice sessions for instant analysis.

Along with traditional league play and open bowling, St. Clair Bowl has hosted events of all sizes and skill abilities. The list ranges from PBA Tour stops, college and high school tournaments, independent tournaments, as well as Illinois High School Association (IHSA) regional and state tournament play. Traditionally, McKendree has hosted two in-season tournaments at St. Clair Bowl: the National Collegiate Team Match Games in November and the McKendree Baker Challenge in January/February.
