Myron Hicks is the McKendree University Male Athlete of the Week for Sept. 12-18. Hicks, a senior wide receiver from Sauk Village, Ill., became the career receptions leader for the Bearcat football team during a 33-7 loss at Saint Francis (Ind.) on Sept. 17. Hicks caught three passes in the contest, giving him 72 for his career. Hicks surpassed the previous record of 70, which was established by Byron Gettis, who played at McKendree from 2008-10.
