Junior J.R. Montieth (Orange, Calif./Villa Park) rolled to a seventh-place finish in the individual standings at the season-opening Midwest Collegiate Classic in Wisconsin. Montieth averaged 214.22 over a nine-game individual block on Saturday in helping the Bearcats to a ninth-place finish at the event.
