Adam Reeb

Adam Reeb was named the new head coach of the Bearcats' men's and women's tennis programs in May 2013.

In his two seasons leading both programs, he has led them to a combined three Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament appearances, including a fourth place finish by the men in 2013-14 and a berth into the NCAA tournament. The men's program also ended the 2013-14 season ranked No. 50 in the ITA NCAA Division II ranking, while ending the 2014-15 season ranking No. 10 in both the NCAA and ITA Midwest Region rankings.

Reeb's program has had success both on the court and in the classroom during his short tenure. The women's tennis team was the top academic team overall in the conference in 2013-14, and both programs earned both Great Lakes Valley Conference Scholar Team and ITA Team Academic awards during his two seasons as coach. Both programs combined for 39 Academic All-GLVC honorees and 34 ITA Scholar-Athletes over the last two seasons.

Starting in 2015, Reeb will serve on the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee for women's tennis. Reeb was also selected as a coach for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Missouri Valley 16's Zonal teams in the summer of 2015.

Reeb joined the staff after serving a one-year stint as head coach of the men's and women's tennis teams at Lindenwood University-Belleville. In only the program's third year of existence, Reeb led the men's and women's tennis teams to 7-13 and 5-13 overall marks, respectively, in the NAIA. He also coordinated and ran the Lynx Tennis Fall Classic, a fundraising event that benefitted the tennis programs at Lindenwood-Belleville.

Reeb is no stranger to McKendree University tennis, having served as an assistant coach for the men's team during the 2009-10 season. He helped lead the Bearcats to a 20-5 record that season and was named the 2010 ITA NAIA Men's Tennis Region III Assistant Coach of the Year.

Reeb played collegiate tennis at Saint Louis University and was a co-captain during his junior and senior seasons. He finished his career in 2009 ranked seventh in career doubles wins for the Billikens, and was named the team's Most Improved Player during his junior season after leading the team in both doubles winning percentage and overall winning percentage. He was also a three-time Atlantic-10 Academic All-Conference award winner, was named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll every semester, and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Prior to his coaching stop at Lindenwood-Belleville, Reeb served as an assistant coach at his alma mater for two seasons, helping lead the men's and women's programs to 14-23 and 26-16 records, respectively. The women's team reached the finals of the 2011 Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament, its highest finish in school history, and had a player ranked in the top 125 in national singles, and two ranked in the top 20 of the Central Region, both firsts in school history.

He helped guide six players to All-Conference honors, as well as mentoring the 2011 Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Performer and Most Outstanding Rookie Performer award winners. In the classroom, Reeb's had 19 earn ITA Scholar-Athlete awards, three Atlantic-10 Academic All-Conference honorees, and one named Atlantic-10 Student-Athlete of the Year.

A native of Belleville, Ill., Reeb was a two-time Illinois state tournament qualifier at Althoff Catholic High School. He won two South 7 Conference championships and was a four-time All-Area and All-Conference performer. He was a two-time All-Metro selection by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and was ranked as high as No. 3 in the St. Louis District during his prep career.

Reeb graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2009 with a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in leadership and change management. In 2010, he graduated with honors from the United States Sports Academy with a master's degree in sport science.
