(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 27)—The McKendree College men’s soccer team posted a crucial 4-2 victory Thursday at Harris-Stowe State University in American Midwest Conference play.
Freshman defender Sean Mueller (Ellisville, Mo./Lafayette) scored his first two goals of the season in leading the Bearcats to the win. McKendree closed out its regular-season schedule with an overall record of 10-6-2. The Bearcats finished AMC play with a 4-2-1 mark, and Thursday’s win put McKendree in position to host an AMC play-in game Thursday. Tournament pairings will be announced Wednesday.
