Nick Dreyer (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) the McKendree College hockey team was defeated Friday on the road at Palmer College of Chiropractic, 14-10.
Dreyer added a pair of assists and finished with six points in the contest as McKendree dropped to 11-7 on the year. The Bearcats will face Palmer again on Saturday to wrap up a two-game weekend series.
Junior center
Scott Roberts (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) chipped in with two goals, while junior defenseman
Shawn McBride (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) and junior wing Ryan Haeffle (Columbia, Ill./Columbia) each recorded a goal and two assists for McKendree.
The Bearcats trailed 3-2 after the first period before rallying to take a 6-5 lead early in the second period on a goal by senior wing
Brian Neighbors (Belleville, Ill./Althoff Catholic) (Belleville, Ill./Althoff Catholic). However, Palmer tallied the next four goals to regain a 9-6 lead, and the Dragons never trailed again.

Ryan Ahlemeyer (Cahokia, Ill./Cahokia) (Cahokia, Ill./Cahokia) and freshman
Anthony Millatti (Columbia, Ill./Columbia) (Columbia, Ill./Columbia) split time in goal for McKendree. Millatti recorded 26 saves, while Ahlemeyer had 11 stops for the Bearcats.
