McKENDREE MEN’S SOCCER’S TIES LINDENWOOD 0-0

Hampton had 15 saves in the tie
(ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Oct. 22) – The McKendree University men’s soccer team played 110 minutes of soccer Monday night at Lindenwood University, but couldn’t get past the Lindenwood defense and came away with a 0-0 tie.
 
The Bearcats, currently No. 22 in the NAIA, are now 15-1-1 overall. They host University of Missouri-St. Louis Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
 
Despite playing with a one man advantage for 85 minutes after a Lindenwood player was given a red card, the Bearcats failed to get a shot past Lions goalkeeper Bryce Flynn. Senior goalkeeper Santiago Hampton (Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. George's) (Buenos Aires, Argentina) had 15 saves in the tie, which puts him in third place all-time for saves in a single game in McKendree history.
