(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 23)—The McKendree University volleyball team posted a match victory Tuesday night at home against Williams Baptist College. The Bearcats needed four games to take the best-of-five match by scores of 30-12, 30-26, 20-30 and 30-26.
The win was the 20th on the season for McKendree, which moves to 20-12 overall. The Bearcats are now 8-4 in American Midwest Conference play. McKendree also extends its streak of 20-win seasons to five.
On Senior Night at the Melvin Price Convocation Center, it was a junior and a sophomore that helped lead the offensive attack for McKendree. Junior middle hitter

Dani Collins (Freeburg, Ill./Freeburg) (Freeburg, Ill./Freeburg) chipped in with 12 kills.
Senior middle hitter
Angie Clark (Charleston, Mo./Charleston) (Charleston, Mo./Charleston) had 11 kills and a team-leading six blocks. Sophomore outside hitter
Lisa Witte (St. Charles, Mo./St. Charles) (St. Charles, Mo./St. Charles) matched Clark with 11 kills. Senior libero
Courtney Aldridge (Dupo, Ill./Dupo) (Dupo, Ill./Dupo) led the Bearcats with 17 digs, while senior setter
Allison DeGroot (Highland, Ill./Highland) (Highland, Ill./Highland) posted 40 assists and 15 digs in the effort.
Stephanie Hart led Williams Baptist (22-7, 7-6 AMC) with 15 kills.
McKendree will return to action Wednesday at Columbia College. First serve for the AMC match will be at 7 p.m. in Columbia, Mo.
