(CANTON, Mo., Nov. 16)—The McKendree University women’s basketball team shot just 22.4 percent in dropping a 60-44 non-conference decision Friday at Culver-Stockton College.
The Bearcats made just 13-of-58 shots on the night as their two-game win streak came to an end. McKendree is now 2-4 on the year and will play host to the University of Missouri-St. Louis Monday at 7 p.m. in the Melvin Price Convocation Center.

Ashley Agee (Moberly, Mo./Moberly) (Moberly, Mo./Moberly) dished out a team-best four assists for the Bearcats. Senior forward
Suzy Gerler (Florissant, Mo./Hazelwood Central) (Florissant, Mo./Hazelwood Central) had six rebounds and a game-high five steals for McKendree.
McKendree scored the first four points of the contest before Culver-Stockton (3-1) took the lead for good with nine consecutive points. The Wildcats took their largest lead of the period, 24-11, on a three-pointer by Brittany Chappell with 4:04 on the clock. Culver-Stockton led 29-20 at the intermission, then scored the first eight points of the second half to take control, 37-20, with 16:55 left.
Kristin Allen paced the Wildcats with 13 points and five assists, while Breezy Guymon added 12 points. Alysa Strickland pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds for Culver-Stockton.
