(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 19)—Five different players scored two goals apiece as the McKendree University hockey team rolled a 14-6 victory Friday at home against Wheaton College. The match was played at the U.S. Ice Sports Complex in Fairview Heights.
Senior wing
Nick Dreyer (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) led the scoring frenzy with two goals and three assists as the Bearcats notched their third consecutive victory. McKendree is now 10-5 on the season and will host Wheaton again Saturday at 3 p.m.
McKendree raced to a 5-0 lead after one period of play and extended its margin to 7-0 before the visiting Thunder finally broke into the scoring column. In all, sixteen Bearcat players tallied at least one point in the effort.

Jordan Thompson (St. Louis, Mo./Chaminade) (St. Louis, Mo./Chaminade) was the other McKendree player to score two goals against Wheaton. Senior center
Scott Roberts (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) notched a goal and three assists as well.
Junior Marc Power (O’Fallon, Ill./O’Fallon) made 28 saves to collect his sixth win in seven decisions.
