(MARSHALL, Mo., Nov. 17)—The McKendree University wrestling team fell to 3-1 in dual matches on the season after a loss to Missouri Valley College 24-18.

 

The Bearcats will return to action Saturday at the Wisconsin Open. Matches are set to begin at 10 a.m. The No. 10 Bearcats won five of the 10 matches in the contest.

 

Freshman Wade Lowe (Godfrey, Ill./) (Godfrey, Ill.) won 6-0 at 133 pounds, senior Kyle Jahn (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) (Bolingbrook, Ill.) won 7-1 at 141 pounds, sophomore Aaron Winning (Highland, Ill./) (Highland, Ill.) won 16-1 at 157 pounds, Tanner Wolk (Ste. Genevieve, Mo./) (St. Genevieve, Mo.) won 12-2 and senior Adam Hicks (Eureka, Mo./) won 3-1 at 197 pounds.
