(St. Louis, Mo., Dec. 5)—The McKendree University wrestling team won eight of ten matches on their way to a 36-12 dual match win over Missouri Baptist University Wednesday night.

 

The Bearcats will return to action Saturday to face the University of Illinois and University of Findlay in dual matches in Champaign, Ill.

 

Freshman Wade Lowe (Godfrey, Ill./) (Godfrey, Ill.), senior Adam Hicks (Eureka, Mo./) (Eureka, Mo.), and sophomore Zak Adomanis (Bowie, Md./Progressive Christian) (Bowie, Md.) all won by major decisions in the 133-pound, 197-pound, and the 285-pound classes, respectively. Other winners for the Bearcats were freshman Ryan Jahn (Bolingbrook, Ill./) (Bolingbrook, Ill.) at 149-pounds, freshman Kyle Reid (Belleville, Ill./) (Belleville, Ill.) at 165-pounds, sophomore Josh Bryant (Tuttle, Okla./) (Tuttle, Okla.) at 174-pounds, Tanner Wolk (Ste. Genevieve, Mo./) (Ste. Genevieve, Mo.) and junior Jermaine Waye (Altama, Ga./) (Altama, Ga.) had a forfeit win at 141-pounds.
