(OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA., April 21)- The McKendree College Bearcats softball team lost 5-4 to William Jewell College Saturday afternoon at the Capital City Classic in Oklahoma City, Okla. The Bearcats finished with a tournament record of 2-2.

 

The Bearcats travel to St. Charles, Mo. on Monday for a Region V doubleheader against Lindenwood University at 3 p.m.

 

Rachael Ostertag (O' Fallon, Mo./Francis Howell) (O’Fallon, Mo./Francis Howell) was 1-4 at the plate with two RBI, while Angie Maue (Trenton, Ill./Wesclin HS) (Trenton, Ill./Wesclin) and Andrea Hawkins (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) both had an RBI in the loss. Pitcher Amy Quirin (Belleville, Ill./Belleville West HS) got the loss dropping her record to 10-4 on the season.
