BEARCATS OVERCOME EARLY THREE-GOAL DEFECIT FOR MEN’S SOCCER WIN
(LEBANON, Ill. – Sept. 16) – It was a tale of two halves at Leemon Field Sunday, as the Bearcats men’s soccer team rallied for a hard fought 4-3 win over Benedictine College (Kan.).
McKendree improves to 5-1 on the season and Benedictine suffered its first loss, falling to 5-1.

Gareth Batchelor (Southampton, Hampshire/Tauntons) (Southampton, England) scored two consecutive second half goals to tie the game 3-3, with his second goal being a header off a blocked penalty kick. Freshman forward

st minute off an assist by Holmes to get the win.

The Bearcats travel to Walnut Ridge, Ark. Monday to open up American Midwest Conference play at Williams Baptist College at 1 p.m.
