(Cedar Falls, Iowa, Jan. 12)—The McKendree University wrestling team won both their matches at Saturday’s opening round at the National Wrestling Coaches Association/Cliff Keen National Duals held on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The Bearcats, the No. 2 seed in the NAIA bracket and No. 5 in the NAIA’s January 10th rating, will return to action Sunday at 11 a.m. to face No. 3 seed University of Great Falls.
McKendree opened up the day with a 37-8 win over Northwestern College. Four of the Bearcats eight wins in the opening dual came by forfeit. Sophomore
