(ST. CHARLES, Mo., Nov. 1)—The McKendree University wrestling team had three wrestlers finish in the top six at the Lindenwood University Open Saturday.

Junior Aaron Winning (Highland, Ill./) (Highland, Ill./Althoff Catholic) came in first place in the 174-pound division with a record of 4-0 and sophomore Andrew Sanchez (Shiloh, Ill./) (Shiloh, Ill./O'Fallon) was runner-up at 197-pounds with a record of 4-1. Sophomore Wade Lowe (Godfrey, Ill./) (Godfrey, Ill./Alton) finished in fifth place at 133 pounds with a record of 3-2.

The Bearcats, currently No. 3 in the NAIA, host No. 18 Campbellsville University in a dual match October 5th at 7 p.m. for their 2008-09 home opener.
