(Owensboro, Ky. – Nov. 24) – Senior forward Emily Best (Wood River, Ill./East Alton-Wood River) pulled down her 500th career rebound Monday night in a 52-50 win at Brescia University.
McKendree, now 4-4 overall, will host Maryville University Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Best (Wood River, Ill./East Alton-Wood River) led McKendree with 20 points and seven rebounds and senior forward Julie Garrison (Centralia, Ill./Centralia) had nine points and five rebounds in the contest. Brescia's Brittany Bird led all players with 22 points, while Clarissa Houston was the only other player to score in double-digits with 10 points.
McKendree led 26-18 after one half of play and was outscored by Brescia in the second half 32-26, but held on for the two point win.
