(Cedar Falls, Iowa, Jan. 11)-The No. 6 McKendree University wrestling team lost its championship semifinal dual to No. 2 Southern Oregon University, 33-13, Sunday morning at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Bearcats will face No. 4 Dickinson State University at 1 p.m. in the 3rd place match.
McKendree's lone wins came from No. 6 Aaron Winning (Highland, Ill./) (Highland, Ill./Althoff Catholic) over Tyler Thomas in a 14-0 major decision at 174 pounds, No. 1 Andrew Sanchez (Shiloh, Ill./) (Shiloh, Ill./O'Fallon) in a 4-2 decision over Chase Locke at 197 pounds, and Dan Moore (Rolla, Mo./) (Rolla, Mo./Rolla) who won by forfeit at heavyweight.
