(LEBANON, Ill., March 7)—The McKendree University men's tennis team registered a 7-2 victory Saturday on the road at the University of Illinois at Springfield.

The Bearcats were also scheduled to play an exhibition match in the afternoon against Lake Land College, but the contest was called due to weather with McKendree leading 2-1. The victory over UIS gives McKendree a record of 2-0 in the spring season.

On Monday, McKendree will be on the road to face the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
