(LEBANON, Ill., April 4)—The McKendree University women's tennis team lost its second-straight match Saturday in a 8-1 loss to William Jewell College.

Lauren Szakielo (Troy, IL/Triad) gave the Bearcats their lone win of the day, 5-7, 6-4 (10-5) over Ann Lewis at No. 5 singles. Emily Cimmarolli came close at No. 3 singles, but fell to Sydnee Mela 6-2, 5-7 (10-6).

The Bearcats will return to the court Tuesday, April 14^th to face University of Illinois at Springfield.
