(LEBANON, Ill., March 31)—The McKendree University women's tennis team defeated Missouri Baptist University 6-3 on Tuesday.

McKendree was paced by four singles wins in the match. Jenny Mennerick (O'Fallon, IL/O'Fallon) defeated Meghan McCreary 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Erin Thoman (O'Fallon, IL/O'Fallon) defeated Lindsay Dixon 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Emily Cimmarolli picked up a win at No. 3 singles over Brittany Becker 6-3, 6-1 and Lauren Szakielo (Troy, IL/Triad) defeated Alexis Cortez 6-3, 7-5 at No. 5 singles.

In doubles action, the duo of Mennerick and Thoman defeated Dixon and Becker at No. 1 doubles 8-2 and Cimmarolli and Szakielo combined to defeat McCreary and Tanner at No. 2 doubles 8-4.

McKendree returns to the court on April 3rd to face Olivet Nazarene University.
