(LEBANON, Ill., Jan. 9) – Junior guard Ashley Agee (Moberly, Mo./Moberly) (Moberly, Mo./Moberly) scored 19 points for No. 17 McKendree University in a 71-59 win over Hannibal-LaGrange College on Saturday and became the 11th player in McKendree women's basketball history to score over 1,000 career points.
McKendree, now 12-3 overall (2-0 American Midwest Conference), will travel to Columbia, Mo., on January 14 for an AMC game at No. 9 Columbia College at 5:30 p.m.
Junior guard Katie Fullerton (Coulterville, Ill./Coulterville) (Coulterville, Ill./Marissa) led all players and tied her season-high with 20 points in the contest to go along with Agee's 19 points in the win. Sophomore forward Emily Woodland (Eureka, Mo./Eureka) (Eureka, Mo./Eureka) also tied her season-high with 14 points to round out the Bearcats double-digit scoring.
Abby Rankin led the Trojans with 19 points in the loss.
