(LEBANON, Ill., April 6)—The McKendree University men's tennis team posted its own version of a doubleheader sweep on Saturday, winning road matches at William Jewell College and Missouri Valley College. The Bearcats rolled to easy wins in the contests, taking an 8-1 decision at William Jewell followed by a 7-2 triumph over Missouri Valley.
McKendree, the No. 24-ranked team in the NAIA, pushed its winning streak to three matches to move to 14-2 overall. The Bearcats will return to action next weekend (April 9-10) at the Hack Kellner Invitational in Springfield, Ill.
