(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 29)—Senior goaltender
Nathan Campo (Westmont, IL/Downers Grove South) registered his first career shutout in leading the McKendree University hockey team to a 7-0 victory Friday night at home against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (Silver).
Campo stopped all 27 shots that came his way in leading the Bearcats to their first home win of the 2012-13 season. McKendree improves to 2-3 overall and will host SIUE (Silver) again Saturday evening at 9:45 p.m in East Alton.

Nic Rolla (O'Fallon, IL/O'Fallon) and junior wing
Brandon Riley (Belleville, IL/Belleville West) each scored two goals on the night to lead the offensive surge for McKendree. Senior center
J. David Coleman (Budapest, Hungary/Fort Zumwalt West) handed out three assists in the win.
McKendree struck for a pair of early goals as Rolla opened the scoring just 55 seconds into the action and senior wing
Derek Sallee (Highland, IL/Highland) followed with a tally just 18 seconds later. Rolla added his second goal of the night midway through the second period to stake the Bearcats to a 3-0 advantage.
Riley opened the third-period scoring less than two minutes into the stanza, and freshman center
Nick Faulkner (New Baden, IL/) made it 5-0 with an unassisted goal with 13:26 left to play. Riley netted his second goal of the contest five minutes later, and freshman center/wing
Andrew Falls (Brentwood, TN/Brentwood) collected the Bearcats' final goal with 7:39 on the clock.
