The McKendree University wrestling team will have two duals this week. The Bearcats will travel to St. Louis, Mo., to face Maryville University on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m., before hosting its final dual of the season on Friday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
CLOSING OUT THE REGULAR SEASON: McKendree will close out its regular season on Friday when its hosts Truman State University for a dual match at 7 p.m. The Bearcats will begin its NCWA postseason at the Regional tournament hosted by Lindenwood University-Belleville on March 2.
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST MARYVILLE: The Bearcats are 1-0 all-time against Maryville University. The Bearcats defeated the Saints, 24-23, last season.
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST TRUMAN STATE: McKendree is 3-0 all-time against Truman State University. The Bearcats and Bulldogs squared off in three consecutive seasons, 2003-04, 2004-05, and 2005-06. McKendree and Truman State tied, 19-19, in their previous meeting on Jan. 26, 2006, but the Bearcats earned the victory on a tie breaker.
