(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 3) – The McKendree University men's D2 hockey team will take on Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. at the Owens Center on Friday at 6:45 p.m. and on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
McKendree has a record of 7-3 after sweeping Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville last weekend. Bradley University competes at the ACHA D3 level and has an overall record of 8-4. The Braves are 1-3 against ACHA D2 teams, with its win coming against Illinois State University.
The Bearcats have six players earning over a point per game over the first 10 games of the season. Senior forward
Ryan Sizer (Belleville, Ontario, Canada/Moira Secondary School) leads the Bearcats in scoring with 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points. Freshman forward
Levi Armstrong (Urbana, IL/Urbana HS) is close behind with five goals and 12 assists for 17 points. Sophomore forward
Lazar Lestaric (Belgrade, Serbia/Sesta) leads the team in penalty minutes with 12, along with his five goals and 11 assists for 16 points. Freshman forward
Dominic Naas (Neurensdorf, Zurich, Switzerland/KV Zurich Business School) has netted four goals and 11 assists for 15 points. Sophomore
Kristjan Toivola (Bellingham, WA/Bellingham Blazers (NPHL)) has found the back of the net 7 times and registered 7 assists for 14 points. The final player earning over a point per game so far this season is senior defenseman Steven Csanyi with six goals and seven assists for 13 points.

Andrew Best (Midland, Ontario, Canada/Saint Theresa’s High School), with a record of 4-3 and a save percentage of 0.892. Splitting time in net with Best has been sophomore
Jared Bradley (St. Peters, MO/Fort Zumwalt South HS) with a 2-0 record and 0.878 save percentage. Junior
Trevor Klostermann (Highland, IL/Highland HS) got the call up from the D3 team in the SIUE series and will remain with the D2 team heading to Bradley University.
