Pink the Rink Night in honor of cancer awareness, with the teams taking the ice at 7:45 p.m. The teams are set to battle it out again on Saturday, beginning at 4:45 p.m.
Friday night, the McKendree players will wearing commemorative
Pink the Rink jerseys, which will be auctioned off in a silent auction during the game. The silent auction will close before the start of the third period. Proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to charities dedicated to cancer research.
McKendree is coming off of a sweep of the University of Iowa, improving its record to 7-3. The Cougars are 4-6 overall on the season after being swept by Iowa State University. The Bearcats have been led this season by sophomore forward
