(Lebanon, Ill., January 30) -- McKendree University men's wrestler Ryan Strope (Westphalia, Mo./Fatima) was selected as Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Wrestler of the Week by the league coaches after two conference victories this past week.

Strope helped the Bearcats post two GLVC Dual wins over top-25 teams with a 6-0 decision over No. 3 Pernevlon Sheppard of Wisconsin-Parkside and a 4-0 decision over Matt Pratt of Maryville. The Fatima, Missouri native is 27-9 on this season's campaign as he looks to return the National Tournament after finishing fifth last season.
