(Lebanon, Ill., Feb. 6) -- McKendree University men's wrestler Darren Wynn (Champaign, Ill./Centennial) has been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Wrestler of the Week after his 8-5 decision over No. 2 Nick Crume of the University of Indianapolis.

Wynn is currently ranked No. 1 at 141 pounds with a perfect 22-0 record on the season.

The Bearcats were also crowned GLVC Champions posting a 6-0 GLVC Dual record this season. The men's wrestling team is back in action on Wednesday at 7 p.m. when the team travels to No. 10 University of Central Oklahoma for a non-conference dual.
