(LEBANON, Ill., Jan. 11)--The snowstorm that has moved into the St. Louis/Metro East area has affected several McKendree University athletics events for the weekend.

The McKendree men's and women's basketball doubleheader set for Saturday afternoon at home against the University of Missouri-St. Louis has been postponed. The games have been moved back a day to Sunday, Jan. 13. The women's game will tip off at 4 p.m., followed by the men's contest at approximately 6 p.m.

In addition to the postponement of the basketball doubleheader, two other Saturday events to be held off-campus have been cancelled. The Bearcat D2 men's hockey team was slated to play in St. Louis against Maryville University. That contest will not take place. Also cancelled was the Washington University Swim Meet, also in St. Louis, in which the McKendree men's and women's swimming and diving teams were scheduled to appear. 

A decision concerning the McKendree men's volleyball home match against the University of Charleston, set to be held Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. inside the Statham Center in Lebanon, will be made on Saturday.
