(LEBANON, Ill., July 12)—For the second consecutive year, McKendree University's Andrew Best (Midland, Ontario, Canada/Cambridge Bears Junior A team) participated in the Prospect Camp for the St. Louis Blues.
 
Best, who has starred in goal for the Bearcats over each of the last four years, was one of nine goaltenders that took part in the camp that ran June 25-28 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. He was involved in the morning drill sessions for the newly-crowned Stanley Cup champions. Best was also invited to participate in the organization's 2018 Prospect Camp.
 
"It was a humbling opportunity to stake with such elite players," said Best. "I am grateful that I got the chance to participate in this year's camp."
 
In 2018-19, Best continued to excel for the McKendree hockey program. In 16 games, he posted an overall record of 12-3 with a 2.20 goals-against average. Best's impressive season included one shutout and a .924 save percentage. He was a second-team All-Conference honoree by the Mid-America Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA). Thanks in part to Best's performance, McKendree registered a 26-6-1 overall record and a third consecutive MACHA Gold Division championship in 2018-19.
