(LEBANON, Ill. – Jan. 24) – The No.2 McKendree University men's wrestling heads into their second Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) matchup against Drury University on Saturday, Jan. 25, in Springfield MO.

The Bearcats are coming off their first GLVC matchup win against Maryville 37-3 Tuesday night. Juwan Edmond (Bellwood, IL) pinned his opponent in just :55 seconds to put the Bearcats at a 12-3 lead. The second pin of the night came fromNo.1 ranked Nick Foster (Belleville, IL/Belleville West) at 5:44 to extend the Bearcats' lead (21-3). This was the first of four conference matchups.

Drury is coming off a GLVC matchup win (33-8) over Ouachita University on Jan. 17. Drury has a 2-2 record (1-0 in GLVC) going into this weekend's dual. They had two wrestlers place in the top-3 at the Kaufman/ Brand/ Baylay Open, had two first-place finished at Drury Open, and placed 20^th overall in the 41^st Annual Midwest Classic.

 The GLVC dual will begin at 4:00 P.M. in Weiser Gym.
