(SPRINGFIELD, MO – Jan. 25) – The McKendree University men's wrestling team took on their second Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) dual of the week at Drury University and left with a 37-9 victory.

Nick Foster (Belleville, IL/Belleville West), Joshua Jones (Chicago Heights, IL/Marian Catholic), Ryan Vasbinder (Grand Rapids, MI/Grandville) (Grand Rapids, MI/Grandville) and Charles McNeal (Florissant, MO/Christian Brothers Catholic) all had key wins to further extend the Bearcat's lead over Drury. The Bearcats now have a 6-2 record and are 2-0 in the GLVC.

141-lb: Jet Tryon (Buckner, MO/Oak Grove) was defeated by technical fall (TF 17-2) at 6:13 by Peter Kuster. (MCK 10, DU 5)
149-lb: Frankie Falotico (Wardsville, MO/Blair Oaks) won by a 4-2 decision over Seth Otis. (MCK 13, DU 5)
157-lb: Nate Smalling (Belleville, Ill./Belleville West) won by a 7-2 decision over Ben Stahlman. (MCK 16, DU 5)
165-lb: Nick Foster (Belleville, IL/Belleville West) won by technical fall (TF 17-2) at 5:29 over Alex Garrett. (MCK 21, DU 5)
174-lb: Joshua Jones (Chicago Heights, IL/Marian Catholic) won by technical fall (TF 24-9) at 7:00 over Logan Zimmerman. (MCK 26, DU 5)
