(LEBANON, Ill. – Feb. 14) – McKendree University's No.2 men's wrestling honored seven seniors at their final home competition of the 2019-20 season Friday night along with a dual against Ouachita Baptist University. The Bearcats held their own with a 55-0 victory.

The seven seniors – Michael Aldrich (Ballwin, MO/Parkway South), No.1 Nick Foster (Belleville, IL/Belleville West), No.7 Caleb Gossett (St. Charles, MO/Francis Howell Central), Charles McNeal (Florissant, MO/Christian Brothers Catholic), No.2 Marcus Povlick (Plainfield, IL/Plainfield North), No.9 Nate Smalling (Belleville, Ill./Belleville West) and Qian'te Wagner (Alton, Ill./Alton) – were honored by their coaches and teammates before the dual. The Bearcats' four falls, three technical falls, and one major decision were unanswered by the Tigers.

The postseason for the Bearcats is right around the corner, as the Bearcats head to the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championships on Saturday Feb. 16. They will hit the mat against Bellarmine University at 9:00 A.M. and against University of Indianapolis at 1:00 P.M. in St. Louis, MO, on the campus of Maryville University.
