ST. LOUIS, Mo - The McKendree men's and women's powerlifting teams hosted the Beast of the Metro East at the Sports Performance Center on January 29, 2022. Jacob Waltzer, who was the only one who lifted on the day, took Best Overall Male Raw Lifter, squatting 230 kg, benching 147.5 kg, and deadlifting 290 kg.

Both teams head to Lombard, Il to compete in the USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals on March 27-30, 2022.
