LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University men's D1 hockey and head coach
Garry Henson announced the first signee for the 2022-23 season with wing Steven Brachert set to join the program this upcoming year.
Brachert is a native of Augsburg, Germany, and a product of the Seattle Totems of the Western States Hockey League (WSHL). The left wing is majoring in graphic design in his undergraduate studies. He comes to the Bearcats after playing two seasons for Anna Maria College, which is a member of NCAA DIII and the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), in Paxton, Massachusetts. Brachert appeared in six contests with the Amcats, firing three shots on goal.
