OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. | Midwest College Hockey - McKendree University men's hockey freshman defenseman
Trevor Voyda earned a postseason honor with selection the the MCH All-Rookie team earlier this month, as voted on by the league's coaches. It marks Voyda's first collegiate honor and the sole postseason honor for the Bearcats in 2022-23.
On the season, Voyda recorded 22 games played to begin his collegiate career, while totaling 10 points on the season. The freshman from Naples, Florida, tallied four goals and six assists with a multi-goal game against Northern Illinois on December 12, 2022. The defenseman earned his first collegiate points on November 5, 2022, as the Bearcats hosted Waldorf, with one score and an assist to his stat line. He collected points during six total outings, including one short-handed goal during the NIU contest in DeKalb.

2022-23 SEASON
McKendree men's hockey finished out the season with a 13-13 overall record while earning a 10-6 MCH mark. The Bearcats improved vastly over one season, more than doubling their win total and reaching the second round of the MCH tournament with a first-round victory over NIU, 7-0.
