INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Bearcats entered the GLVC Women's Tennis tournament as the 4 seed from the east division. They opened the tournament taking on the top seeded Drury University Panthers in the quarterfinals.

Unfortunately, the Panthers proved worthy of their top seed as they defeated the Bearcats by the score of 4-0.

Drury captured the doubles point as they won the No. 1 and 2 doubles positions.

As the competition turned to singles play, Manuela Barriga got the Bearcats off on a good start by taking the first set 6-4, but she would then fall 3-6, 0-6. Viola Cipriana and Mariana Caicedo Mora fell in straight sets as the Panthers clinched the match.
