Men's Wrestling Places 7, Johnson Champions 184 Class at Jim Koch Wisconsin Open

KENOSHA, Wis. - McKendree University men's wrestling hit the road for another open this past weekend, bringing home a 184 title behind junior Darion Johnson while six more Bearcats placed in the one-day tournament. The Bearcats tallied four top-three finishes outside of Johnson's belt with 174 redshirt senior Matt Ortiz placing second and 141 redshirt junior Ronan Schuelke, 149 senior Joey Semerad, and 184 redshirt junior Zeke Waltz all placing third in their weight classes. McKendree is back on the road for a dual against UIndy on December 6 before heading back to Indianapolis for the Midwest Classic on December 14-15.
