INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | Ruth Lilly Fitness Center - No.4 McKendree University men's wrestling (2-1, 1-0 GLVC) picked up a strong true road victory to kick off its Great Lakes Valley Conference season, defeating the 11th-ranked Indianapolis Greyhounds, 30-11 on Friday evening. The Bearcats collected eight weight class victories with four bonus-point wins over UIndy, helping drive home the win for McKendree. The Bearcats head right back to Indianapolis for their next outing, taking on the country's biggest Division II tournament of the season at the Midwest Classic on December 14-15.

With the win, the Bearcats moved to 16-3 all-time over the Greyhounds while also marking back-to-back wins over UIndy and 12 of the last 13 matchups.Â
