BELLEVILLE, Ill. - The Bearcats hosted their first home event of the season today against Eastern Illinois University at the Silver Creek Saloon.
The Bearcats played two rounds against Easter Illinois, falling in both rounds 2-3. In the first round, the Bearcats first pair won with scores of 34-32, 18-21, and 15-10. Pair four also won in two sets for the Bearcats with scores of 21-15 and 21-18. In round two the Bearcats pair one got the win again in three sets with scores of 21-15, 19-21, and 15-10. Pair four also won again in two sets with scores of 21-15 and 21-14.
The Bearcats are back in action at home again on Sunday, March 10 against Ottawa University.Â
