Beach Volleyball Defeats the Eagles

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The McKendree beach volleyball team traveled to Missouri State University going 1-1 on the day.

The Bearcats first went up against Missouri State falling to the Bearcats 0-5. In the second match of the day, McKendree went up against Oklahoma Wesleyan University defeating the Eagles with a score of 3-2.

Junior Amber Williams and freshman Lauryn Lahey took down Oklahoma Wesleyan's pair in two sets with scores of 21-15 and 21-9. Senior Michelle Ramirez and sophomore Megan Diercks took down the Eagles pair in two sets with scores of 21-18 and 21-13. The last pair to take down the Eagles in two sets were sophomore Lili Wilkerson and freshman Torie Pollard with scores of 21-12 and 21-9.

The Bearcats concluded their 2024 season with an overall record of 5-17.
