CEDAR FALLS, Iowa | UNI Dome - Fifth-seeded and sixth-ranked McKendree University men's wrestling (4-3, 1-0 GLVC) claimed its highest NWCA National Duals finish since 2020 with a fourth place finish this weekend, battling through four ranked matchups and two top-five bouts. The Bearcats punched a ticket into the semis after a 2-0 first day at the UNI Dome with wins over No.10 West Liberty, 23-20, and No.24 Upper Iowa, 21-18. McKendree narrowly dropped to top-ranked and seeded St. Cloud State in the semifinal before falling against Nebraska-Kearney. McKendree gets right back into dual battles with Findlay (RV) and No.16 Ashland coming to Lebanon on January 18 and 19 for bouts against the sixth-ranked Bearcats.
